According to PictureThis, the bush is Bridalwreath Spirea, native to Korea, China and Japan. It’s supposed to flower on the oddly specific date May 5th but flowered early because it’s in Sofia.

The weather here over the last 2 winters is more Greece than Bulgaria.
The late April from my childhood still had chances of snow, and it would transition to a hot summer in a flash sometimes in May. We have an unusual long, warm and colorful spring this year.

It gets hot but not Spain hot and not every year. We didn’t turn the AC on last 2 summers but we have an AC and we use it when it gets hot enough.
