WordCamp Sofia 2026 is tomorrow! Still not too late to join us 🙂

The team is testing the slides.
Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia
WordCamp Sofia is next week, October 24th. The main hall is 6. The entrance is from the back and confused everyone last year, especially given that in the early morning, almost all other doors will be closed.
This is NDK’s front, main entrance. Our event is not that big to use it 🙂

And this is where we are going to be:

The main entry will be the door where the cyclist is.
Going from the front to the back is easier on the west side, as the east looks like this:

The alley is fine, just a hundred meters longer because of the architectural choices to make all these underpasses everywhere.
In case you’re still wondering if you should come, this is the tickets page. We still have tickets. Welcome!
WordCamp Sofia is coming in under two weeks. I’ll be on the volunteers team for a third year in a row. That red t-shirt below? Well earned 😀
I’ll be happy to see you there. The schedule is good and pretty packed with a good balance of known folks from the community and new faces, also English and Bulgarian talks. So, welcome. The tickets page is here.

I joined the team for WordCamp Sofia for another year. This will be my third year in a row as part of the organizing team. The last two years were great, the teams were strong, and I hope we’ll have a good time together again.

Just a few photos from last year to add color to the announcement.

I only have a few photos from the WordCamp contributor day that happened today. I joined the polyglots. This photo doesn’t give enough credit to the group that managed to almost fully translate WordPress 6.9 in Bulgarian. I participated by translating or approving hundreds of strings. The group was led by Vladimir Vasilev, who has lots of experience and helped us translate better.
We had free food and free Coca Cola Zero.
