
Winter is Coming

Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia



I saw this bird during my evening walk. It was the biggest crow that I remember, especially the biggest one staring at me. She deserves a post. Also, zero cats today.


It’s cold outside, not pleasant for long walks at all. However, 3 months from now, a temperature of 3-6° C would actually be soft and welcoming.

The first snow is always surprising, especially when it comes so close to the summer and after a drought.



Some of the mountain passes are closed, and the local emergency system bg-alert got triggered to tell us to not go to the mountain because of a high risk of falling trees and branches.
