Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia
This tiny patch of the King’s Garden used to be the famous and beautiful Writer’s Coffee, a central spot for the intellectuals of Sofia until the 70s.
It was destroyed likely to create a photo spot with the church behind, however the true reasoning is not known to the Internet.

The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is blurred in the back. Took this photo during my morning walk today.
The tourist logo of Bulgaria is a rose. We have roses everywhere. The coat of arms is 3 lions. We don’t have lions anywhere out of the zoo. I much prefer encounters with the roses. 🌹
Jay knocked on the window a few times to show me that the cherry tree outside is ready for snacks.
Bulgaria got invited to join the Euro today. Bulgarians are not united on the subject if they want the Euro and the anti-EU political parties are capitalizing that. I witnessed their protest today.
The gathering was lead by a young lad who yelled with full force, like he’s dictating the attack in the Braveheart movie. The hot sun made the movement sluggish.
