Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia

I was too quick on my weekly hiking trip to Cherni Vrah today and the beans soup wasn’t ready. There would be beans, kufte, and kebapche 15-20 minutes later. Missed that but I had lentils and chocolate, and it was fine. Life was good.

Appreciating the chance to see the peak one more time.

I was tired this weekend and couldn’t do a hike. I did a walk instead, and hit a new and unexpected milestone. First kilometer under 10 minutes since I started tracking.
I was in a hurry to end the walk so I can watch the Starship 5 flight. Ended up at home on time to see the booster catch live.

Here’s a proof of my achievement. I’ve tried doing that before and failed, even downhill. It just randomly happened today.
Good job to whoever came up with this writing prompt! I have two candidates.
I’m now after 10k steps/day average over the course of a year and climbing Vihren in 2025.

Found this in Sofia. First time I see anything resembling blackberries in my area.
I spent years of my childhood in Stara Zagora where blackberries are common. I liked the blackberry jam my grandmother made.
