Back to Sofia

I have a list of posts I’d like to write, inspired by the LeadDev conference but they’ll take time. Meanwhile, here’s a flower for you. If there’s anything superior in my city compared to London, it’s the nature.

Sweet Woodruff or Lazarkinya.

      1. I lived in Armenia for two years in the 90s, and back in those days, it smelled like diesel and kerosene. But this is the time of year for flowers… I think maybe I was smelling something like lilacs in Sofia.

      2. My German friend identified the fragrant trees in Sofia as lindens. We don’t have many of them in the USA, as far as I know, but I went to Latvia last year and the guide told us they have a lot of them there. Apparently, it’s a custom for Latvian parents to plant linden trees when they have daughters.
