
One of the most important boulevards in Sofia starts with this house. There’s a newer building at the corner, called Tsarevets (Царевецъ), and it’s a symbol of Sofia but it’s Tsarigradsko Shose 1A and was built a year later.
I hope this little pink house gets restored to its full glory one day. Maybe not considered old enough yet.

It’s prime property. Ideally, a house like that crumbles to open space for a new hotel

No different from us here. So many private bungalows are turning into huge residential buildings.

That’s a good initiative by the government I guess. Here people sell it off. In my hometown, the owners construct concrete and bigger homes. The old houses are declining.
