Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia

I was too quick on my weekly hiking trip to Cherni Vrah today and the beans soup wasn’t ready. There would be beans, kufte, and kebapche 15-20 minutes later. Missed that but I had lentils and chocolate, and it was fine. Life was good.

Appreciating the chance to see the peak one more time.

I was tired this weekend and couldn’t do a hike. I did a walk instead, and hit a new and unexpected milestone. First kilometer under 10 minutes since I started tracking.
I was in a hurry to end the walk so I can watch the Starship 5 flight. Ended up at home on time to see the booster catch live.

Here’s a proof of my achievement. I’ve tried doing that before and failed, even downhill. It just randomly happened today.

It’s been awhile 🙂 I post photos of the bean soup that’s sold in the Cherni Vrah shelter as a mark of achievement that I managed to get there one more time.

The mountain was moist, slippery and foggy today. It rained a bit and I even had a chance to walk in hail for about a minute or two. Thankfully, no thunders. Found some berries.

It rained today, the kids needed things, and I only managed to have a walk in the evening. The park was empty. It was kind of depressing, except for this fountain that spread light and color. I hope it serves some purpose other than me noticing it in the early evening.
