Count the Cats

Given that I keep reading books about Zombies, I think this photo is with the right mood. This is the abandoned pool in Blagoevgrad, in an area called The Beach. It was made like that by a concessionaire for reasons beyond comprehension and is probably not fixable with municipality’s current budget and organizational capacity.

The area suffers from a cat infestation.

Ducks refuse to stay in a row

I have this strange goal to take a photo of ducks in a row. They’ve been refusing to do that for me.

I saw maybe 20-ish young ducks grouped together, almost forming a row, but the combination of light, phone camera, and my photography skill level produced an image of Nessie.

Bath

During my childhood, houses didn’t have bathrooms, hot water, or sometimes any water. So we showered at public bath houses. Then, the capitalism came, brought hot water and took away the public bath houses one by one, replaced them with banks, hotels, and museums. The one we used the most is in the process of renovation right now to become a medical center.

Except some baths here and there that survived. According to the Internet, despite the abysmal conditions, the one below still works, and is kept like that due to a series of absurds.
