Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia

According to our tradition, we carry a red and white wristband called martenitsa from March 1st to the day the storks arrive or we see a blossoming tree.
It’s too soon. I remember carrying martenitsa until mid April.

Erica carnea, also known as Winter Heath, is already in bloom days after the snow melted. Bees were flying around. Feels like it’s time for the sun to show up and for the spring to come.

We also have the next generation of cats already growing up and refusing to pose for a photo.

Not a tourist attraction but I liked the view. The little one wanted to go there to buy a specific type of candy from a specific store right next to that bridge. Who am I to resist to an offer to walk 1 hour with no particular purpose?
We saw many snowdrops on the way to the bridge and back.
