McDonald’s is not known to be the best food, it is expensive and is slow these days. We are high on the Big Mac Index, higher than the USA. It has a special place in my hard despite all of that. My generation grew up with a French comic called Pif that advertised McDonald’s. I had no idea that it was a fast food chain or what a fast food chain was until the 90s when they came to Bulgaria and opened their first restaurant. I still grew up with the logo. Their Pif ads paid off. Here we are, 35 years after the fall of communism, I still occasionally eat McD and remember the long-gone comic.

They open for lunch in the US at 10:30 btw 🙂 I have been known to order that early, especially as I’m an early riser and lunch seems sooooo far away from breakfast.

Google Maps says they’re open 24/7 but it’s likely the drive-through only. No idea how I got this 001 number 🙂

They used to be so cheap here in the US. Some years back you could get a hamburger, fries and a drink for about $4

Something happened here. They raised the prices and at the same time became very slow. So slow that drive-through is no longer reasonable. We used to buy McD once per week because kids loved it but waiting for 30 min in the car became hard to endure.

Search on X. In the US they charge 10 USD for a burger… NOT for a meal. And they reduces the size of the patty. Check the ingredients – it´s not junkfood, it´s definetely absolute crap 😉 I know it´s not easy – but you should not eat that shit 🙂

$7.89 according to their menu but post seems to be inaccurate. I say that we are higher than the USA in the Big Mac index, while $5.78 price is actually significantly cheaper. The menu is also cheaper.

The subscription notification contains a link to subscribe back that doesn’t work in your case. My guess is because of slightly the malformed url (http instead of https, and www. that gets stripped)
