Someone left a broken CRT computer display next to the recycling bins. It brought memories.
Back in 1998, my first color screen was like this, or very close to it. Same brand – Hansol, and the same look from behind. I don’t remember the exact model but I remember the smell of fresh plastic and static electricity. The smell remained for months and I loved it.
It was very surprising to see how my website looked in color. I built it with the previous black and white display. In a sense, this purchase forced me to rewrite my website and learn some JavaScript.
Oh, man. How weird and challenging it must have been to write JS back in those days without an IDE and some help with functions.

I wrote with Notepad, and then my brother wrote something like Notepad but with very basic additions I needed for coding.
You don’t need an IDE for coding, to this very moment I prefer vim over my AI-assisted VS Code.

Wow. I know that you don’t need an IDE still, but I could probably not write anything without Jetbrains Webstorm 😂. Well, I could, but it would be full of errors.
I feel handicapped using VS code 😝. I hate saying that word. Disabled is better, but handicapped shows the weirdness of it 😂.
I think it’s absolutely awesome that you prefer vim over an AI assisted IDE ❤️. 👍💪

VS Code I use when I have a task that requires touching unfamiliar React code. It’s much easier to navigate a million files until I find the right one, and also the auto-complete is good.

Nice. I’ve heard a lot of good things about VS Code. Personally I can’t use it. I’ve had to use it lately because I don’t have a license for PHPStorm any longer, but VS code in general is really confusing to me.
