If you want to experience dining while surrounded by amateur downhill cyclists, Malina Bar&Grill Borovets is your place. I liked the spirit and the neon glow of it.
I also think that cyclists and hikers should not share trails. All these bicycles look harmless when they’re thrown like that on the ground but we saw some of them go downhill with speeds approaching the speed of light (okay, maybe a bit less), and we are lucky to have survived the encounter.
Mountain bikes and hikers on the same trails is absolutely lethal.
In the UK and France they are all separated but sometimes I come across walkers on the trail and do a big skid just to make my point – oh and walkers who let their dogs run on the trails – I’ve hit a couple of those as well

We walked a trail that was clearly marked for hikers but we say maybe 20 bikes in 10 minutes, all with full speed

In the UK walkers put traps on their trails that are really dangerous.
It was like that here up until 20 year ago, then specialist tracks were built into the forests to separate walkers and bikes
Hope it happens for you too
