My answers

What was the last thing you read?
Law of Gravity is the last book I completed. It is a political thriller, quite good for the 3.6 rating on Goodreads.

What are things you are passionate about?
It might not be visible from the blog but math, physics, music. I’m a junior audiophile. And books. Lots of them.

What’s the first thing you do when you get home from work or going out?
Essentially Fred Flintstone.

Do you collect things? And if so, what are they?
Gamebooks. I have over 200. Stopped buying them because I ran out of space.

How can someone earn your trust?
Easy, some level of trust comes by default.

How can someone lose your trust?
Treat the waiter poorly? This rule can be generalized and translated in many different areas but the essence is that we should be kind and respectful to everyone.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
I served in the military, that was truly pointless and gave me PTSD. I learned things I can’t unlearn.

In five words, how would you describe yourself?
nerd (I only needed one)

Has your opinion of your family changed over the years? If so, please share your opinions.
Yes, I understood many annoying traits my parents have once I had my own children.

What do you think makes someone a “good person”?
No idea. There’s a biblical definition of that, which I respect, and is roughly that the good person delivers good fruit, helps people and is kind to people. But my addition to this would be a person who honors their contracts.

Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes!

    And My Answers again!

Do you ever or have you ever swallowed your gum?
Yes, in school, gum was forbidden so if the teacher approaches you, there’s one way to save it…

Do you remember the first time you really felt like a grown up?
    Hasn’t happened yet 😦

When you use a public washroom do you line the toilet seat with the disposable paper they provide?
    Yes

Side sleeper, back sleeper or stomach sleeper?
Side, sleep paralysis is a real thing for me and if I fall asleep on my back, terrible things happen. It’s particularly bad if my wife isn’t nearby to wake me up when I try to scream.

Do you like coffee and if not, have you really given it a fair chance?
Gave up on coffee for health reasons. I’d visit Starbucks for a decaf once in a blue moon. Used to be a regular client but they lost me as a regular.

One breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what is it?
    Yogurt. Made in Bulgaria.

If you had to go on a twelve hour road trip where there are no gas stations to stop at to buy snacks and you can only pack one snack, what would that be?
Granola bars, my current favorite sweet junk food is called Corny. I can probably endure a 12 hour road trip on it.

Do you take reusable shopping bags with you to the grocery store?
Yes, I usually carry a pink foldable bag.

What activity do you get so caught up in that you lose yourself in it and you have to consciously step away from?
I can get hooked into coding, even with the present day vibe-coding that’s not really the same. It’s very easy for me to lose myself into it and feel bad after that.

Do you remember how you felt when you learned there was no such thing as Santa/Easter Bunny?
What are you talking about, Santa is real, and so is Toothfairy. We don’t have easter bunnies here.

If you could spend the day or even just the afternoon on a platonic “date” with your first crush, would you?
    No, sounds terrible.

      1. Congrats on getting nominated. It’s a fun feeling, isn’t it?

My brother has night terrors, is sleep paralysis similar? If so, you have my deepest sympathies.

I’ll do this and schedule it for Sunday, May 17th.

        1. Sleep Paralysis is a semi-wake state where you can open your eyes but can’t move. Part of your brain is still sleeping so you may see stuff from the dreams, usually scary stuff. For example, someone is sitting on my bed. I don’t know that person. Who are you? Why am I not moving? Trying to speak, words don’t come out of my mouth. And so on.

I can signal that I’m in sleep paralysis to my wife by breathing rapidly, pretty much the only thing I can control, and also by making some minimal noise and she wakes me up.

          1. Ok, THAT was weird. Did you edit your reply? Because that second paragraph wasn’t in the notification when I replied but it is now.
Or is the wp notification system getting “improved” by the sadness engineers?

      2. Yes thanks Veselin! Loved reading these responses! I eat yogurt everyday and probably could live on it but it has to have granola mixed in it!
