@veselin.blog I counted seven. The longer I looked, the more cats appeared so maybe I can conjure up a couple more.

The correct answer is higher than 7 🙂

Nine I can identify, a couple of other shapes could bring it up to a dozen.

I couldn’t identify 12 cats on the photo but there were 2-3 that didn’t fit, including one right behind me

I’m going with nine as my final answer then. Shapes are sometimes deceiving.

The zoomed crops are what make this work, because at full size it is just a dark shape and the crop is where the second pair of ears turns up. I got a different number on the first pass than after reading the zooms, which is exactly the point. How many times did you recount before you trusted the final figure?

The final figure is unclear, depending on what percentage of a cat needs to be visible. Fully visible, I think, 8.

Infinite. There are infinite cats. Cats refuse to be limited to any one dimension by something as everyday as a camera.

There are 3 tiny kittens. The Zoom is the courageous one. The one on the top left corner is the Shy one.
And there’s a third, let’s call them Shadow. So elusive that can’t be spotted at all. Pointy tail, tabby. I was there yesterday and saw Zoom and Shy but not Shadow.
