There are some villages here that still use them for cooking and certain tea places using clay cups. There was a dining place who offered Biryani in clay pots.
Restaurants used to offer that here as well but I’ve not recently seen it. At home, it’s a very easy way to cook something tasty because you can literally throw in anything in the pot and just put some cheese and salt to tie the things and it works. But then you have to wash it manually.
The casserole pots are lovely. They’re not for show I presume.
