I’ve not previously featured the mighty hedgehog on my blog. We have at least two living around our building, somehow cohabiting with about a hundred cats. Hedgehogs seem to be less adapted to city living and very vulnerable to cars.

Cats, good books, AI, and religious walking in the city of Sofia

Cats are in hiding these days. I rarely capture good photos despite spotting many.

When I was young and visiting relatives in Germany, they were excited about the “Igels” that would appear in their backyard every evening. I was expecting to see giant eagles and was rather disappointed when they turned out to be hedgehogs. 🙂

It is a wild animal. It lives between the concrete buildings but it does it on its own
